Seasonal and cloudy for Tuesday afternoon
TODAY: Clouds are rolling into Mid-Missouri from the southeast as the remnants of Irma continue to track to the north. Even with the clouds, the temperatures today will be a hare degree warmer, near 80 degrees. With the cloud cover, there is a chance for isolated showers east of HWY 54, with the best chance south of I-44, but most of the rain should hold off until the evening. Any showers that develop are only expected to produce up to a tenth of an inch of rain. Winds will remain out of the northeast at 10-15 mph, gusting up to 25 mph at times.
TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy skies will remain through the overnight hours as moisture from Irma sticks around. Spot showers are possible through the night, as Irma continues to track to the north. Overnight lows will drop back into the mid 50s with winds out of the north under 6 mph.
EXTENDED: Clouds will gradually clear Wednesday as the moisture from Irma moves to the east. We’ll stay in the upper 70s to near 80 on Wednesday, but will see a warming trend as we close out the work week. By Friday, high temperatures will reach the upper 80s, with overnight lows in the low to mid 60s. It will feel slightly more humid as dew points climb into the low to mid 60s. High temperatures will reach near 90 Saturday and the upper 80s Sunday with a slight t-storm chance Sunday.
