Motorcycle crash kills one in Gasconade County
A man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Gasconade County Monday morning.
It happened around 2:45 am on eastbound Missouri 28, just west of US 50.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s crash report, 35-year-old Brian Tyree from Bland, Missouri, was riding his motorcycle when he failed to negotiate a curve. He then went off the right side of the road, hit a mailbox and flipped several times.
Deputies say Tyree was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, but was pronounced dead on the scene.
His body was taken to Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in Owensville.
This is Troop F’s third fatality in the month of September, and the 36th of 2017.
