Clouds from Irma move in tonight and Tuesday

TONIGHT: A dry and slightly warmer night is ahead of us with overnight lows in the mid 50s. Clouds will begin to increase overnight from the southeast ahead of Irma. Winds will be out of the northeast under 8 mph.

TUESDAY: We’ll have increasing clouds from the east as remnants of Irma move in. Thickest cloud cover will be east of HWY 54 where there is a chance of an isolated shower. Any showers that develop are only expected to produce up to a tenth of an inch of rain. High temperatures will reach the upper 70s with northeasterly winds at 10-15 mph, gusting up to 25 mph at times.

EXTENDED: Clouds will stick around Tuesday night then gradually clear Wednesday as the moisture from Irma moves to the east. We’ll stay in the upper 70s to near 80 Wednesday but will start warming for the end of the week. By Friday, high temperatures will reach the upper 80s, with overnight lows in the low to mid 60s. Dew points will climb into the low to mid 60s this weekend, making it feel more humid. High temperatures will reach near 90 Saturday and the upper 80s Sunday with a slight t-storm chance Sunday.
