Slightly cooler and comfortable end to the weekend

TODAY: It will be another beautiful day across Mid-Missouri, as temperatures are expected to climb into the upper 70s and lower 80s. Low humidity will make it feel pleasant, as dew points will be below 60 degrees. Winds throughout the day will be out of the east under 10 mph, with mostly sunny skies.

TONIGHT: A dry and relatively cool night is ahead of us with overnight lows in the upper 40s and lower 50s. Winds will be out of the east under 8 mph under clear skies.

EXTENDED: By Monday into Tuesday, we will see some increasing cloud coverage, as the remnants of Irma track into the Tennessee River Valley. This will likely bring some spot showers to areas south of Hwy 24. Temperatures will stay in the low 80s through the middle of the week. As a ridge builds into the area, we will see a return of summer-like temperatures in the upper 80s as we close out next week.
