Two hospitalized after three-car crash southwest of Columbia

Two people were hospitalized after a three-vehicle crash just before 5:45 p.m. Friday.

It happened southwest of Columbia at Scott Boulevard and Thornbrook Terrace.

All vehicles were damaged heavily from the crash.

It’s not yet clear how the third vehicle was involved, but an emergency responder on the scene said the other two vehicles were heading in opposite directions when the collision occurred.

Two people from the same vehicle were taken by ambulance to a local hospital.
