The 80s return by this afternoon

TODAY: It will be warmer this afternoon as temperatures climb into the lower 80s under mostly sunny skies. Humidity will remain low as winds will stay under 8 mph from the south. It will be another comfortable evening for SportsZone Football Friday as temperatures will start in the upper 70s at 7 pm and drop to near 70 by 9 PM.

TONIGHT: Through the overnight hours we will see temps drop back into the mid 50s under mostly clear skies with a light southeasterly breeze.

EXTENDED: The weekend looks warm with high temperatures in the lower 80s and nights in the mid to upper 50s as the dry weather pattern continues. The Tigers will have great weather Saturday for the game against South Carolina. Tailgaters will have warm weather in the afternoon, with temperatures still near 80 for kick-off at 6PM. Through the game, temperatures will drop into the low 70s by 9 PM. We’ll likely stay dry through early next week with seasonal temperatures in the low 80s. By Tuesday we could see increased cloud coverage depending on the track of Irma, but likely staying dry across mid-Missouri.
