Teens suspected in broken Boonville car windows

Boonville police believe they know who is responsible for shattering car windows.

Last weekend, police received multiple reports of broken car windows. At first, they thought the glass was broken by a BB gun or pellet rifle. Now, they believe the damage was done by steel balls and rocks launched from a slingshot.

Police have identified the suspects as three teens and said criminal charges are being sought.

If you live in Boonville and see any suspicious activity, the Police Department encourages you to call 660-882-2727 or 911 for emergencies.
