Rocheport man charged with injuring woman in crash

A Rocheport man is suspected of driving while intoxicated in an August crash that injured his passenger.

Jacob Mouden, of Rocheport, was charged Thursday with driving while intoxicated resulting in serious physical injury.

According to a probable cause statement, a Boone County deputy responded to the crash during the early morning hours of Aug. 17 at the intersection of Domentorch Road and Wehmeyer Drive.

Court documents state his female passenger was unconscious and unresponsive when deputies arrived on scene. Mouden told deputies he drove off the road and collided with an embankment.

Deputies said Mouden performed poorly on a field sobriety test and blew a 0.122 BAC during a breathalyzer test.

Mouden was arrested and posted bond the same day.
