Man steals master keys to Stephens College, other personal items

A man has been charged with stealing a Michael Kors purse, an iPhone 6, a makeup bag anf work keys with the master keys to the entire Stephens College campus. The theft coast a total of $1750.

On May 11, Daniel Hughes was at 1300 East Broadway when security officers made contact with him inside of the Helis Communication Building.

Hughes did not identify himself to the security officers. According to security and video surveillance, Hughes was wearing the same clothes that he was wearing when he stole the Michael Kors purse on May 2. Hughes went to his vehicle with the security officers following, and they were able to find out that the vehicle was registered to him and who Hughes identified as his girlfriend.

Hughes was charged with felony stealing.
