CrimeStoppers offering reward after Boone County elementary school broken into

The Boone County Sheriff’s Department says CrimeStoppers is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspect(s) responsible for breaking an elementary school.

Deputies say they responded to Two Mile Prairie Elementary School on North Route Z in late August. There, they found four classroom trailers burglarized and discovered electrical copper wiring to three trailers had been removed.

School staff reported electronic and camera equipment was also stolen, along with other educational aides.

Deputies say the suspect(s) forced entry to doors on the classroom trailers.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact CrimeStoppers at (573) 875-TIPS. Deputies say all calls are confidential and say a tipster does not have to provide their name to collect a reward.
