Fire destroys mobile home in east Ashland

UPDATE: A mobile home in Ashland is a complete loss after a fire destroyed it Wednesday night.

ABC 17 News is told the home was vacant and fire officials are talking with a person of interest.

A shed also caught fire and a separate home was slightly damaged just off Eastside Drive.

No one was injured.

ORIGINAL: Multiple firefighters are on the scene of a fire in east Ashland.

Roger Jaeger with the Southern Boone County Fire District confirmed a mobile home in the 100 block of Eastside Drive is in flames.

The call went out just before 7:30 p.m.
