Where to buy safe eclipse-viewing glasses in Jefferson City
Vendors all across the country are either selling out of eclipse-viewing glasses or have had to recall glasses because they were not certified as safe to use.
The Missouri Department of Natural Resources recalled a specific brand of glasses Friday that state parks were selling for viewing the eclipse. It couldn’t be confirmed that the glasses meet ISO and CE certification or came from a recommended manufacturer.
DNR advises anyone who bought a pair of PMS ProMart glasses should return them to any state park, historic site store or gift shop to receive a refund.
