Jefferson City Area Crime Stoppers offers award for homicide suspect

The Cole County Sheriff’s Department released a statement saying that they are currently investigating a homicide that occurred on Sunday, June 11 in the 5200 block of Collier Court.

The victim, Deon Thompson, was found dead of apparent gunshot wounds.

Jefferson City Area Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to
an arrest.
