Moniteau County deputies arrest 3 during Tuesday traffic stops
Deputies from Moniteau County made three arrests Tuesday during two separate incidents that they say involved the possession of meth.
In the first incident, the department said one of its deputies was driving on Hwy 50 in California when they saw a vehicle cross the center line and almost hit the patrol car.
The deputy pulled over the driver, Angeline Villarreal, and performed a search of the vehicle with her permission.
The search turned up meth and the deputy arrested Villarreal.
In a separate incident, deputies say they stopped a car after a report of suspicious activity on Hwy O.
A search of the vehicle and the two people inside again yielded meth.
Deputies arrested 20-year-old Dyani R. Martinez and 35-year-old Michael A. Wolf, suspecting both of possessing a controlled substance.
The bond amount for all three suspects is set at $25,000.
