AP: Police kill suspects in separate alleged terror plot in Spain
UPDATE 2: Spain’s Catalonia region police force has confirmed the fifth suspect was shot in the resort town of Cambrils and has died. They also said six people, not seven, have been injured.

ORIGINAL: Spanish police have confirmed officers shot and killed four suspects in a separate alleged terror plot south of Barcelona on Thursday.
The announcement comes hours after the first attack claimed 13 lives and injured roughly 100 in a tourist section of Barcelona’s Las Ramblas district.
Spain’s public broadcaster, RTVE, reported that the suspects shot and killed south of Barcelona may have been carrying suicide explosive belts, but this has not been confirmed.
RTVE also reported the suspects in this latest alleged attack also drove into people on the street, injuring seven.
