Mexico man found guilty of rape, child molestation
A Mexico man was found guilty of rape and child molestation, according to an official release from the Audrain County Prosecuting Attorney.
Eugene Harbit, 62, of Mexico, was found guilty on Monday to raping and molesting an eight to ten year old victim between 2007 and 2009. Harbit faces up to 45 years in prison.
Harbit’s sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 20 in Mexico.
