Heat and humidity return across Mid-Missouri this week

TODAY: It’s a mild summer morning across Mid-Missouri, as temperatures are hovering near 70 degrees. This warm morning is a significant difference compared to the unseasonably cooler temperatures we have been seeing. Outside of a few isolated showers near I-44 through midmorning, we’ll remain dry and warm today. Winds out of the south under 9 mph, will certainly remind us that it’s still summer across the region. Highs today under partly cloudy skies will climb into the mid to upper 80s, with heat indices approaching 90 degrees.
