Man critically injured after fall along Katy Trail
Paramedics called a man’s injuries critical after he fell down a hill along the Katy Trail.
A helicopter took the man to a hospital just after 8 p.m. on Sunday. The man was walking on private property above the Katy Trail in Rocheport when he fell down to the trail itself.
Witnesses reported that the man hit the ground several times while rolling, coming to a stop on the trail.
Medics rescued the man from the trailhead in Rocheport. The first-arriving medics told ABC 17 News the man had been drinking just prior to the fall.
