Columbia man arrested for drugs after traffic stop
A Columbia man is facing drug charges after Boone County deputies arrest him during a traffic stop.
Aaron Monroe was arrested Friday night shortly after 6 p.m. for possession of a controlled substance and delivery of a controlled substances.
Deputies say they conducted a traffic stop after witnessing multiple traffic violations. They then searched the car and found two different types of controlled substances as well as drug paraphernalia.
Monroe was taken to the Boone County jail on a $9,000 bond. He has since bonded out of jail.
The female driver of the car was cited and released for misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance.
