KMIZ rolls out new app for better user experience

KMIZ has rolled out a new app update for viewers as of Thursday morning.

The app does not require a re-download for current users, but rather just a simple update in your Apple or Google Play store. If you have not selected “Auto Update” in your app settings, you will need to go in and update the app manually.

The app update includes:

news alerts when news breaks and when KMIZ uncovers new developments to ongoing stories. improved navigation so that users can find the content that’s most important to them. the ability to save stories to read later. the ability to share stories and video with their social groups. the ability to share story ideas, pictures and videos with the ABC 17 newsroom
