Unseasonably cool weather pattern to persist across Mid-Missouri
TODAY: It’s still feeling more like fall across Mid-Missouri this afternoon, as temperatures are climbing into the mid 70 under mostly cloudy skies. Through the day we will gradually see the clouds begin to break apart, with sprinkles to light showers mixed in. This will primarily affect those along and south of I-70. Temperatures will stay below 80 degrees with light northeasterly winds under 10 mph.
TONIGHT: Another comfortable night is in store for the region, as temperatures bottom out in the lower 60s. We’ll see patchy fog build back into Mid-Missouri once again, with clouds gradually clearing from north to south. Winds through the night will be out of the northeast under 10 mph.
EXTENDED: By Tuesday, temperatures will finally rise into the lower 80s under mostly sunny skies. The weather pattern will remain dry through Wednesday until we receive our next chance of rain late Wednesday evening into Thursday morning. This will be the start of an unsettled weather pattern through the weekend. Off and on rain chances are likely through Saturday. Temperatures will stay unseasonably cool through the weekend as we see daytime highs 5-10 degrees below average. Watch ABC 17 News and follow ABC 17 Stormtrack on Twitter for continued updates.
