Mild for August, rain chances return Wednesday night

TONIGHT: Another comfortable night is in store for the region, as temperatures bottom out in the lower 60s. We’ll see patchy fog build back into Mid-Missouri once again, with clouds gradually clearing from north to south. Winds through the night will be out of the northeast under 10 mph.

TUESDAY: Skies will become mostly sunny, warming afternoon temperatures to near 80 which is still below average for early August. Winds will come in from the east up to 8 mph.

EXTENDED: It will stay dry into Wednesday as temperatures warm into the lower 80s under partly cloudy skies. There is a chance of showers and t-storms Wednesday evening mainly west of HWY 63. Lows will drop into the mid 60s Wednesday night with an increasing chance of t-storms. The chance of showers and storms continues Thursday as a wave of low pressure moves through. High temperatures will stay near 80 Thursday, warming into the lower 80s Friday as we stay dry to end the work week. Heading into the weekend, we’ll pick up another chance of t-storms Saturday but will stay dry Sunday with high temperatures continuing near 80 and nights in the lower 60s.
