Weekend storms cause serious damage to Camden County roads

Weekend storms in Camden County have damaged several roads and low water crossings, making many impassable.

According to the Camden County Sheriff’s Department, Lake Road 7-13, in the area of Bollinger Creek is also impassable but crews from Camden County Road and Bridge are working to remove damaged asphalt and add temporary fill.

Dodds Camp remains inaccessible to crews working to restore power to the areas.

Cup Tree, on the northern most Camden County line, should not be used and parts of Dawson Road in the city of Camdenton have been severely damaged. That area is currently under a boil order.

If you are aware of any other damage in your area, the Camden County Sheriff’s office asks that you call them at 573-346-2243. You can also call the Emergency Management Agency at 573-317-6239.
