Fulton man arrested after threatening to blow up US Post Office

Fulton Police received a report of a man threatening to blow up the US Post Office in Fulton on Thursday morning.

Danny Estes, 40, of Fulton, said that if he did not receive a check he was expecting in the mail, he would blow up the office.

Officers found Estes in the 500 block of E 8th Street and took him into custody. Estes was charged with making a terrorist threat and has a bond set at $1500.

The Callaway County Sheriffs Office helped with the investigation and took Estes into custody for failure to register as a sex offender and for being a sex offender within 500 feet of a school. Estes has a bond set at $5000 for these charges.
