Multiple agencies fight structure fire in Belle
On Tuesday, fire units from multiple cities worked hours into the night to put out a fire in downtown Belle.
Smoke filled the air and residents were encouraged to steer clear of the area as crews arrived on scene.
According to Maries County Sheriff Chris Heitman, units from Belle, Bland, Linn, Owensville, and Vichy were needed to fight the structure fire on Alvarado street.
All tenants were accounted for before 9 p.m.
According to Heitman’s Facebook page, the building holds the ABC Clothing Store and apartments.
