MKT bridge work postponed
The city of Columbia announced Monday bridge work on the MKT Trail would be indefinitely postponed.
Work was scheduled to take place today on bridges 5, 7 and 8 on the MKT Trail. The city was encouraging trail users to avoid the area stretching from the east side of the 3M Wetlands to southwest of the Stadium Drive underpass. Crews were supposed to do preparation work for full bridge replacements coming later this year.
The city says it will notify trail users when the work is rescheduled.
