One-car crash slows early morning I-70 traffic

The Boone County Office of Emergency Management said one car crashed on eastbound I-70 near the 118 mile marker just before 5 a.m. Wednesday.

Both eastbound lanes were closed for about 20 minutes, backing up traffic for more than a mile.

Crews have not yet released any information about what caused the crash or any injuries involved.
