Fulton man arrested for stealing truck

Fulton police say they responded to a suspicious vehicle near Walker Lane and West 7th Street just after 11:30 p.m. Monday.

A GMC truck with no license plates was stopped by officers, and inside was 18-year-old Justin Atterberry.

During the investigation, officers learned the GMC truck was stolen from a business in Mexico.

Officers arrested Atterberry for first-degree tampering and property damage.

Atterberry was taken to the Callaway County Jail, then released pending a $5000 surety bond.
