Two arrested for drugs, weapons in Boone County
The Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested two people from Columbia for drugs, drug paraphernalia and a defaced weapon.
Avery Miller and Adam Spencer were booked in the Boone County Jail on Sunday.
According to Highway Patrol officials, a trooper stopped the pair’s car for a registration violation.
After searching the car, the trooper found a defaced firearm, drug paraphernalia and meth, officials said.
Both Miller and Spencer face drug and paraphernalia charges. Spencer was also arrested for the defaced firearm, officials said.
According to court records, Spencer has previously been charged with burglary, resisting arrest and tampering with a motor vehicle.
