Shots fired from vehicle on Worley Street

Columbia Police officers were called to the 1700 block of West Worley Street on Monday for a report of shots fired.

Reports said that a vehicle drove by and began firing rounds.

When officers got to the scene, they located several shell casings near the entrance to Columbia Square Townhome Apartments. A vehicle that was parked nearby had a window damaged by the gunfire.

There were no injuries, and the amount of the property damage is still unknown at this time.

The suspect vehicle is described as a small gray car. The investigation is on-going.
