The heat is on for Mid-Missouri this week
TODAY: Skies will be mostly sunny with temperatures in the lower 90s, feeling more like the upper 90s. Slight chance for some spot storms east of US 63 in the afternoon. Winds will be mild at 3-8 mph.
TONIGHT: Areas east of US 63 continue to have the potential to see a few hit and miss thunderstorms, some could be severe, mainly for our northeastern counties. The rest of Mid-Missouri will stay dry overnight. Low temperatures will be around 70 degrees.
EXTENDED: The heat and humidity for next week, with temperatures in the mid to upper 90s everyday. Heat indices will climb into the triple digits starting Tuesday through the end of the week.
