Storms tonight, cooler weather Friday

TONIGHT: Scattered showers and t-storms will move across Mid-Missouri overnight and will be more numerous south of I-70. Severe weather is not expected but storms could produce heavy rain which could lead to localized flooding. Lows will drop to near 70. FRIDAY: Early morning showers and t-storms south of I-70 will end by mid-morning and skies will gradually become mostly sunny through the day. It will be more comfortable as high temperatures reach the low to mid 80s with a northeast breeze up to 10 mph. EXTENDED: The weekend looks mostly sunny with high temperatures in the upper 80s Saturday and lower 90s Sunday with nights in the mid to upper 60s. Heat and humidity will climb next week as we reach the low to mid 90s Monday and Tuesday and the mid-upper 90s by Wednesday and Thursday. Storm chances return toward the end of next week.
