Highway 63 traffic slowed by two early morning incidents
UPDATE – 7:30 a.m.: Columbia fire crews said all lanes of Hwy 63 are back open after two traffic incidents Thursday morning.
UPDATE – 6:40 a.m.: Columbia Police and emergency crews cleared the scene at Hwy 63 near Broadway about two hours after the two-car crash happened Thursday morning.
Columbia fire crews say a separate incident occurred about a quarter-mile north of the crash just after 6 a.m.
“MoDOT is working to remove the non hazardous nonsubstance,” said the department in a social media post.

ORIGINAL STORY: A crash on Highway 63 sent three people to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries early Thursday morning.
A pickup truck and a commercial vehicle were involved in the accident near Broadway.
Traffic on the southbound lane of the highway was reduced to one lane, according to officials on scene.
