One person of interest left unidentified in murder case

Two people, Richard Henry and Arline Diedrich, have been charged with first-degree murder after Leon Wilder was found in a ditch in Audrain County on Thursday. Another man was seen with Henry and Diedrich in security footage when they forced Wilder into a truck before driving off.

Audrain County Sheriff Matt Oller told ABC 17 News the man “from the video footage has some involvement. We just don’t know how much.” Oller said it’s still possible the man would be a “really good witness.”

Henry and Diedrich were identified through footage from multiple security cameras. A camera on I-70 was able to capture the license plate of the car, which belonged to Henry. The two were arrested in the St. Louis area on Sunday.

Henry and Diedrich have a hearing scheduled for Aug. 4 at 1:30 p.m.
