Endangered person alert canceled for man involved in crash

UPDATE: Christiansen has been found safe.

ORIGINAL: An Endangered Person Advisory for a missing person incident that occurred at mile marker 115 on I-70 westbound on Monday has been issued by The Missouri Highway Patrol Troop F.

The endangered missing person is Kenneth P. Christiansen a white male, 37, six feet and four inches tall, weighs 300 pounds, brown hair, brown eyes, wearing a black t-shirt and jeans.

Christiansen was involved in an injury accident on Sunday in Cooper County, after which he made suicidal statements via text to family members. His vehicle was found the next morning on I-70 containing his phone and other belongings. The accident happened after Christiansen hit a 20-year-old James Moss from Jefferson City while he was changing a flat tire. Moss was flown to University Hospital with serious injuries
