Suspect still at large after home invasion robbery on Anthony Street

Columbia police officers were dispatched to a home invasion robbery in the 1300 block of Anthony Street on Monday morning.

The investigation revealed that the male victim, 22, answered the back door of the home to a male subject who was pointing a gun at him.

The suspect asked the victim for tmoney and drugs. The victim was then hit in the head by an unknown object and was treated at a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The only description police have of the suspect is that he is a black male. There have been no arrests made and the investigation is ongoing.
