Relatively cooler temperatures today, but heat and humidity are back on Sunday

TODAY: Temperatures will feel slightly cooler than in previous days with highs in the upper 80s and lower humidity values. We can expect mostly sunny skies and winds to be northwesterly up to 9 mph. TONIGHT: It will be a calm evening with low temperatures in the upper 60s. Skies will be partly cloudy and winds will be shifting from northwesterly to southerly under 5 mph. EXTENDED: Humidity will begin to climb on Sunday as a warm front moves through Mid-Missouri and winds shift to the southwest under 10 mph. Temperatures will reach the upper 80s in the afternoon but will feel more like the lower to mid-90s due to the humidity. Skies will become partly cloudy with a chance for isolated storms chance mainly after 12PM. Next week looks hot with high temperatures near 90 both Monday and Tuesday, reaching the lower 90s Wednesday and Thursday. The humidity will bring heat indices up into the upper 90s to near 100 each day. Rain chances are low with only isolated storm chances each day from Tuesday through Thursday. A better chance for storms moves in late next week as a cold front moves in. For additional weather updates follow us @ABC17Stormtrack on Twitter and like us on Facebook.
