Columbia firefighters extinguish dryer fire
Columbia and Boone County firefighters have cleared the scene of a residential fire Saturday morning.
Firefighters were called to the 1400 block of Strathmore Drive around 10:40 a.m. for reports of a dryer on fire.
Eleven fire units responded.
ABC 17 News crews said firefighters extinguished the fire about 15-20 minutes after they arrived.
The Columbia Fire Department tweeted at 11 a.m. that no injuries were reported.
