Heat & humidity on the rise

TODAY: Visibility is reduced for the morning commute, but after some patchy morning fog, skies will become mostly sunny and temperatures will climb to the upper 80s to near 90 with light winds under 7 mph from the north. It will be a muggy day as heat indices reach into the low 90s.

TONIGHT: Through the evening skies will remain mostly clear as temps drop into the 70s. Overnight we will see a cold front move through mid-Missouri allowing for a spot chance for showers and thunderstorms in northern Missouri. As these storms move to the southeast they will weaken. By the morning temperatures will drop into the upper 60s.
