One-car crash on Stadium Boulevard injures two
Emergency workers responded to a car crash on Stadium Boulevard Tuesday morning.
Columbia fire officials told ABC 17 News that a man and a woman were inside the car as it was traveling on Stadium Boulevard.
They said the car left the road, hit the guardrail and plunged into the embankment near College Park Drive.
The woman was seriously injured, the man suffered non-life-threatening injuries and both were taken to University Hospital for treatment.
Officials said it’s unclear if alcohol or any other type of impairment was involved in the crash and an investigation is underway.
All lanes of Stadium Boulevard reopened before 4 a.m.
