Man accused of firing gun, threatening woman in Cooper County

Pilot Grove police have charged a man after he allegedly fired a gun while threatening a woman.

Police responded to a 911 call of shots fired at 507 Elsie St. on Friday. That’s where they found a woman who claimed Junior Robinson was shooting his gun and threatening her. She said she felt Robinson was a danger to her and her three children.

When police found Robinson, they said he was drunk and hostile toward them. They also say they found a gun and one shell that had been fired.

Robinson was arrested and charged with several counts of unlawful use of a weapon.
