Abundant sunshine and dry weather for Saturday afternoon
TODAY: Mostly sunny skies will dominate our Saturday forecast, allowing temperatures to reach the mid 80s. Outdoor conditions will remain comfortable due to low humidity and gentle winds under 10 mph out of the west. Tonight will have calm winds and evening temperatures in the lower 70s.
SUNDAY: We will start out with dry conditions and abundant sunshine. High temperatures will reach near 90 degrees with low humidity. Winds will be southwesterly between 3-6 mph. As a warm front moves into Mid-Missouri, the chance for thunderstorms returning in the late evening hours for areas south of I-70.
EXTENDED: The humid weather returns Monday as high temperatures reach the mid to upper 80s with showers and thunderstorms likely. For the Fourth of July, storms are expected to continue into the evening hours and overnight into Wednesday morning. We will see seasonal temperatures this week, reaching into the mid to upper 80s each day. Drier and warmer weather will enter the picture by the end of next week with highs in the 90s.
