Moberly police search for driver involved in crash

Moberly police are searching for a driver who struck a bicyclist Monday afternoon.

Officers responded to Morley and Rollins Street around noon.

The 21-year-old woman was riding her bike on Rollins and turning onto Morley when a vehicle hit her, knocking her to the ground, police said.

The driver left the scene southbound on Morley Street. The woman was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries.

Witnesses at the scene describe the suspect vehicle as a newer tan or brown colored car driven by a man.

Anyone with information about the driver is asked to call the Moberly Police Department at 660-263-0346.
