Cool and picture perfect Saturday night
TONIGHT: After a picture perfect day across Mid-Missouri, we’ll continue to see beautiful weather last through the evening. Mostly clear skies will stick around through the night, with temperatures bottoming out in the mid to upper 50s. Winds will briefly shift out of the southwest this evening, with winds remaining light under 8 mph.
SUNDAY: Another beautiful day planned as we head thorugh the day on Sunday. Temperatures will once again climb into the upper 70s under mostly sunny skies. There will be a noticeable difference in winds, as they shift out of the northwest up to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 25. These winds come with the passge of a weak cold front. Plenty of dry air in place, so this will be a dry frontal passage.
EXTENDED: It will be significantly cooler as we head into Monday, as highs only climb into the lower and middle 70s. This comes as overcast skies and showers build in from the west, bringing more rain to Mid-Missouri. By Tuesday, we see the return of 80s in the forecast, with a gradual warming trend. Humidity levels will rise through the week, with temperatures climbing back into the upper 80s. Active weather looks likely as we head into the end of next week, as scattered showers and storms will carry us into the weekend.
