Storms Thursday night- AM Friday

A line of scattered storms will move in late Thursday night ahead of a cold front. These storms won’t arrive until after 1 AM in areas north of HWY 24 and will gradually move south through early Friday morning. As they first move in, a severe storm is possible but would be isolated. There is a Marginal Severe Risk for areas along and north of HWY 24 for possible damaging wind up to 60 mph and hail up to the size of quarters.

Storms will move to south through early morning Friday but will weaken with only some rumbles of thunder and rain for the morning commute. These are expected to be out of all of Mid-Missouri by noon Friday, leaving us with a cooler and dry afternoon with highs in the low to mid 80s.
