Armed robbery at Subway in Columbia, suspect at large

Columbia Police officers were called to 2716 Paris Road, Subway Restaurant, Monday morning in reference to a robbery with a weapon.

According to reports, a female suspect entered the business with a weapon and demanded money.

The suspect fled the area with an unknown amount of money. Upon officers’ arrival, a K-9 track was conducted, but the suspect was not found. There were no reported injuries or property damage

The suspect is described as a 30-year-old black female and 5 feet 6 inches tall. She was described as being a medium weight and an average build. The suspect was last seen wearing jean shorts and a black shirt. The investigation is on-going.
