Pleasant night, with seasonal conditions returning to Mid-Missouri
TONIGHT: A pleasant evening is in store for Mid-Missouri, as drier air continues to flow into the region under northwesterly winds. Temperatures tonight will bottom out in the upper 50s to near 60 degrees. Due to winds remaining up through the night out of the west, little to no fog is expected by daybreak. Winds will remain out of the west under 10 mph.
MONDAY : Our last official day of the spring season will be sunny and pleasant with the high reaching into the lower 80s. Through the afternoon hours, a weak upper level disturbance will track through northern Missouri. This will likely spark a few isolated showers mainly along and northwest of I-70. Even with that said, it will be a comfortable day. Lower dew points in the upper 50s will keep heat indices at bay, closely matching the actual temperature. Skies will remain mostly clear throughout the day with westerly winds under 15 mph.
EXTENDED: Dry weather will continue into Tuesday and Wednesday for with highs in the upper 80s. A chance of storms returns as we head into late Wednesday night. Luckily the heat looks to take a backseat this week, as our hottest day looks to be Wednesday/Thursday, with highs only near 90. Our next cold front looks to bring unsettled weather as we head into the close of this week, with scattered showers and storms.
