Evening storm threat follows humid Saturday

TODAY: After the rain tapers off by the mid-morning hours, skies will be partly sunny. It will be hot and humid with temps in the lower 90s and heat indices in the 100s and above. Winds will be active with gusts near 20 mph from the SW.

TONIGHT: Another chance for severe storms moves into Mid-Missouri from the NW. The primary threat is damaging winds and large hail.

SUNDAY: Once the rain moves out through the morning hours, skies will gradually clear with noticeably cooler temps in the lower 80s.
