Boone County Clerk resigns due to health reasons.

Boone County Clerk Wendy Noren has sent her resignation letter to Gov. Eric Greitens as of Thursday.

According to reports, Noren resigned due to health reasons. Her last day as Boone County Clerk will be June 23.

Noren has served as Boone County Clerk since 1978.
