Man in jail after car theft at Boone Medical Center
Earlier in June, officers were notified there was a report of a car theft at the Boone Hospital Center. Officers made contact with a female victim who claimed items were stolen from her vehicle.
A couple days later, officers were dispatched to the Links Apartment Complex where Gibson and another woman were arrested for other warrants.
A search warrant on their vehicle was conducted and police found several stolen items including the victim’s car title, her I.D. and her credit cards.
They also found tools that could be used for a burglary in the back of the car.
Court documents also state there was a juvenile in the car at the time of the search who was unresponsive but it is unclear if the child was sleeping.
Our crews checked Gibson’s criminal record and he has an extensive past with a few incarcerations.
